“Eid means joy, Eid means happiness”.Eid is a festival of great joy for Muslims. Eid means new clothes, new shoes, fun cooking, semai-pais all arrangements. Eid means gathering with family, moments of laughter, chats. Eid means taking a break from the busy life and returning home. Everyone has the right to celebrate Eid irrespective of caste and religion. But does Eid really bring joy to everyone? In your society we see a group of people or children who don’t have their own address, don’t have their own family, don’t have their own guardian. We all know these familyless children with the difficult word orphans. Their struggle to survive is much different and harder than all of us. We are organizing a small program of Eid-ul-Fitr called “Sampriktti” to give a moment of joy to those who have lost their parents and family. We celebrated Eid with those deprived destitute children in the orphanage and tried to give some bright moments. This is our small effort to bring some peace in their life and give them satisfaction.
